Author's Note: The idea for this came to me in the middle of the summer while I was in the shower, as ideas for fics are wont to do. It's inspired by Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. It's not an exact adaption (like, you know, the Muppet Christmas Carol for example ;p), but loosely based on it. I did use a few key phrases from the book in this fic, at least :).

So, yeah, this year there's two holiday fics from me. Let's see if I end up writing three next year. God, I hope not. Either way, I seem to have made "Uther Redemption" my unofficial holiday theme two years in a row, so... I guess this is me making up for the rest of the year when I cast him as the villain without second thought.
