I know nice paper is expensive, but mmmm, the sensory experience. Since binding a book takes as much time as it does, might as well be left with something lush to hold in your hands, I say.

Steerswoman is one of my all-time faves. They're only available in paperback, so I'm thinking that'll be a conversion project - just like the one you're looking to do, I guess :)

Oh, I definitely know it won't look the best lol. But I think it will still be highly satisfying to hold the end result in my hands 🤩

Oh, absolutely nice paper is worth the sensory experience, plus it just looks lovelier than regular printer paper.

Very fair! Honestly, my plan was either to convert an ebook form of the Wolf House book series into something I could typeset myself, or to buy the five individual novella paperbacks and convert them. (Mostly because I don't like the cover art much on the current editions 😔.) I have no idea how you go about converting paperbacks, though. It seems like something that would either be fairly simple or incredibly complicated.

There really is something to be said for the joy of having a physical thing to hold that you've made! And I definitely didn't mean it in a bad way - my first book is all askew in so many ways but it still looks like a book and therefore I love it.

I know I've seen a video somewhere on converting paperbacks, but can't access yt when I'm at sea. I'll try to remember to look it up when I get home 🤞
