Sure, well met! Oh, I'm into a lot of stuff really, all over the board, though mostly attracted to doom and sludge, as well as black and death metal and grindcore. Experimental, too. Loved this year's Shaam Larein album, the new Darkthrone, The Lord & Petra Haden, Messa, Mizmor, Thou, Ufomammut, Celeste, or the new Sigh album... that's all been on the slab, lately. Though I'll always relax in Iron Maiden like in a hot tub.

I haven’t listened to the new Darkthrone yet, but I’m excited for it! I like to listen broadly too, but my comfort zone is death metal (especially melodeath) and black/anything blackened. Currently listening to a lot of 1914, Aephanemer, Seth, Insomnium, Be’lakor and Altars of Grief. And Iron Maiden!!! Senjutsi last year sent me rabid, I hardly listened to another band for weeks after it came out.

I’m so desperately behind on this year’s releases that I despair of catching up, but hopefully I’ll be able to start getting back on the wagon soon.

Senjutsu was such a surprise! I walked into it expecting nothing, and was completely bowled over. :D
