From momo to xancredible

xancredibleHey everyone, just a quick check-in to let you all know that thanks to a very generous gift from myloveshine I was able to rename my DW account the same way that I've been changing my online name on other social media platforms. I registered "momo" on DW when DW was still v new. It was the only website where I was ever able to register the short version of my old nickname first. Every other page always already had a momo on it.
I've opted to make it so that any DW URL for my old username will be directed to my new username. That means that my old username is not and will never be available to someone else again for as long as DW and/or my account exists. Which... this might be petty but I'm happy that this option exists. I do not remember where all my old DW name was used, and at least this way I'll know for sure that people will always end up here if they're looking for the old me. Also, after a decade and a half of never getting to register anywhere als just "momo", I don't really mind being the one to block this username on just this one website.
I guess this is also incentive to use this journal more often again :)
