Twitter Exodus Friending Meme
Maybe no-one besides my handful of DW mutuals will fill this out but let's try having a friending meme like in the good old days.

Your username on other social media: I'm trying to figure out where I'm going to settle in regard to other social media so really, DW is your best bet for me right now.
Pronouns: They/them
Age bracket: 30s
Geographical area: A bit migratory, though currently I'm in Florida
Interests: Writing, folklore/fairytales/mythology, tarot/oracle and other forms of divination, witchcraft as a personal practice, urban legends/creepypasta, reading, music, some video games, theatre, digital art, horror media of any kind, anthology TV and movies, short films, kink/BDSM,
Fandoms: Hannibal, Sandman, Good Omens, bits and pieces of MCU, and Welcome To Night Vale, Hunger Games, Umbrella Academy, slowly creeping towards AMC Interview with the Vampire because Vampire Chronicles was one of my first fandoms and I'm also flying in and out of a bunch of other fandoms here and there.
What type of posts can we expect in your journal?
Your guess is as good as mineI'm trying to settle into a pattern with DW again. Right now I'm updating sporadtically with life stuff, occasional mentions of what media I'm consuming, mentioning my writing life and I might be trying to come up with a template-type thing to help me post regularly but we'll see if I get my brain together enough to do that.Anything else you'd like us to know? My life is in all sorts of flux right now. I'm hopefully moving within the next year or so, am taking on some new creative projects, dipping my toes back into fandom, and a bunch of other stuff, so if you wanna watch me try and figure out what in hell I'm doing with my life, feel free to follow!

Now is a good time for that. Not only are folks talking about how to use Dreamwidth, they are talking about other services like Mastodon and Pillowfort for different uses. Various people have made resource posts; mine is Twitter Exodus. Also

Lots of people on Dreamwidth use Recurring Posts for that. Some sort of daily or weekly update is common, but you can also pick one or more favorite topics that you feature regularly. These things make it easier to maintain activity without a lot of work.

As someone who owns an excessive amount of tarot/oracle decks, I'm curious about the one(s) you have! Do you have any favourites?
Also, what kind of video games do you like?

So, I used to have A Lot of decks but over the years I've been downsizing a lot due to moving around a bit and not all of them actually being mine as much as ones I had access to.
However, I have a copy of the marigold Tarot that I absolutely adore. My other favoirte/default deck is the Dark Wood tarot. As for oracle, right now I'm really gravitating towards the Embroidered Graveyard deck as well as the Woodland Wardens.
I only play PC games and I gravitate towards more spooky/horror stuff but I also want to extend past that at some point.
What about you?

As for me, I have more decks than I know what to do with, but I think my default decks are the Numinous Tarot and the Empty Cup Oracle. I've also acquired a fair few fandom tarot decks over the years, but those don't tend to be reading decks for me.
I also only play PC games! I don't play much horror myself, although I've enjoyed watching people play some horror games. I'm trying to come up with a theme for what I play, and it's generally games that don't require me to have reaction times - turn-based concept or pausable games. Definitely exceptions, though, I also play an MMO that definitely requires reaction times! :D

Oooh, I've wanted to prod Numinous for a good while now but have yet to jump in and do the thing. I've definitely heard of Empty cup but have yet to look into it. Maybe I'll do that soonish.
I would actually love some turn based or pausable game recs, if you are so inclined.

Highly recommend the Numinous! And the maker of the Empty Cup Oracle also made a tarot deck, the Sasuraibito, which I have a lot of fondness for as well. (It was one of the decks I had as a backup plan when I worried that the Numinous 2nd edition Kickstarter wouldn't succeed.)
Sorry for the delay! Recs just from what I have installed right at this moment (and therefore alphabetical): Crusader Kings III, Dicey Dungeons, Dorfromantik, Into the Breach, Loop Hero, Mini Motorways, Slay the Spire, and Wildermyth. A real range of genres there, but I hope there's something you'd enjoy! Heat Signature is also great - real time but pausable, so you can get yourself into A Situation and give yourself time to think about how to get out of it.

Delays ust seem to be happening these days, so no worries at all. <3 Thank you so much for the recs!
