It just sounds so incredibly complicated, with different words for everything. I will go if and when people I love move to it exclusively and no sooner, I suspect, lmao, but it would be good to get a grasp on it before I need to use it.

I LOVE TREVOR SO MUCH IT'S BECOMING A PROBLEM. Yes, I've seen s1 and some of s2 of the BBC one. It's really well-done but for whatever reason, it didn't become a mind-devouring obsession for me like the CBS one, I have no idea why. I do like Julian! But he and Trevor are very different. Julian's a lot more openly and happily evil, whereas Trevor goes back and forth. (Although Trevor's stint at evil this season was so much fun for me.) Who do you like in the BBC one?

Trevor is a delight! On BBC I absolutely adore the main couple, and then Kitty and the Captain a lot. I also really enjoy Thomas despite his ridiculousness, his backstory (I think that was S2? I’ve not finished S3 yet so presumably not a spoiler to say) was so sad. Julian’s fun, but like, he’s too much like some rl politicians for me to give a shit, you know? Trevor is young enough and indefinite enough where you’re like, maybe he could learn and be a good person! He really feels like his own character in a way I struggle with for Pete and Isaac.

Aw, I also like Kitty and the Captain! And Thomas. Lol, Pat and Thomas trying to do their ghost radio show. I haven't hit Thomas' backstory yet! I'm glad Isaac gets to be happier than the poor Captain. The BBC one is definitely less cuddly and a bit sadder in a lot of ways. There's a lot of horror and sadness hiding in the CBS one but it rarely ever becomes text.

You mean as in more distinct from their BBC counterparts, or in a different way?

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense! The reason I haven’t finished S3 of the BBC series is very much… a certain plotline that made uncomfy. Not a bad one, just, mistaken identity kind of thing.

Isaac and Pete feel like watered-down versions of the BBC counterparts in some ways, which I know is shitty to say but something about them feels more stereotypical and less real? I still like them a lot, but it’s difficult for me to judge them on their own merit.

Interesting, I wonder if I'll figure out which plotline it is once I finally get there.

Wow, I definitely do not feel that way about Isaac and Pete (especially Isaac -- Pete is clearly 10000% character they changed the least), but all this is subjective so that's totally understandable.

It's great to find other people to discuss the show with. :D
