Yeah, that makes a lot of sense! The reason I haven’t finished S3 of the BBC series is very much… a certain plotline that made uncomfy. Not a bad one, just, mistaken identity kind of thing.
Isaac and Pete feel like watered-down versions of the BBC counterparts in some ways, which I know is shitty to say but something about them feels more stereotypical and less real? I still like them a lot, but it’s difficult for me to judge them on their own merit.
