I like reading and writing too -- and cats! I also like some horror, although I'm not familiar with the width and breadth of it as a genre, Fiber/needle crafts interest me, but I probably don't need another craft hobby, so I haven't looked into them in depth.

I'm into The Untamed, although I'll confess to not having read the book. I have read SVSSS, and I've also watched some of Word of Honor, although I got distracted partway through and haven't got back to it yet. I also have ambient knowledge of Stargate from being in the room while family was watching it, and similarly ambient knowledge of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

I've seen you posting around transandnonbinary, and I'm meaning to post on the December Social post later!

Wow, I definitely do not feel that way about Isaac and Pete (especially Isaac -- Pete is clearly 10000% character they changed the least), but all this is subjective so that's totally understandable.

I tried watching the anime, but for some reason didn't stick around, maybe the humour was just not for me? But I really love the fanworks whenever I see them, the fandom is so creative!! As for the live action though, a lot of webcomic/anime fans seem to dislike it, because it's apparently very different. (I can' tell in which ways, obviously...) It is very goofy (typical dorama humour), but it really helped me through a very dark time, so it'll always be special to me. ^^

TNG will always hold a special nostalgia spot for me, but my favorite Star Trek is DS9! & I like both horror books and movies, although I'm a little pickier about movies, lol

DS9 is my favorite too, though I do enjoy all of the old ones. I still haven't seen the newer ones though! One of these days I will get around to subscribing to the streaming service that has them. I read a horror book earlier this year (The Luminous Dead) that I keep thinking about even months later. It was the first book that's really creeped me out in a long time (and its sapphic so that gets points in my book haha). I have another book by the author that I need to read.

I cannot suggest Marigold enough. It is one of my heart decks and was literally the deck I took with me when I had to do an advised evacuation for a hurricane in September.

Oooh, I've wanted to prod Numinous for a good while now but have yet to jump in and do the thing. I've definitely heard of Empty cup but have yet to look into it. Maybe I'll do that soonish.

It's good to know it's not just me - added you back!

The moment I saw it on someone else's journal I loved it so much I immediately added it to mine - I didn't even have a sticky before that. As someone who deals with not knowing what to do in social spaces a lot, I really like the clear nature of it.

Oh I totally get that, me and my mom have both learned that we have to watch something for ourselves before judging, and we focus on entertainment value over being nitpicky. And yep, some things are just plain comforting or fun or silly! <3
