Author's Note: For tracionn. This is the first of two fics that tracionn won during the @coinelot fandom auction back in spring. She won 10k of fic from me, and was allowed to pick a prompt off my list of AUs I’ll never write. (Which is misnamed, but that’s another story.) As you can see, I haven’t managed to write 10k, but that’s why this is only the first of two stories XD Tracci, I hope you’ll like it! With fanart by brolinskeep.
Summary:
For every achievement, good or bad, one earns a mark on their body. Merlin realises very quickly that this might be a problem when you’re the personal servant, and close friend of Arthur Pendragon – especially when you have to save the damn prat every other day from a magical monster or evil plot.
