Dear Podficcer,

wow, first of all, thank you in advance for being great!

Second of all, these are the fandoms I'm super into receiving podfic for, in alphabetical order. The ones I want MOST are underlined, but I'm honestly going to be thrilled with any of these options.

Cabin Pressure: There's barely any podfic for this fandom, and none for my OTP, I believe. I ship Martin/Douglas a lot, but I'll also take gen fic for this fandom. If it’s gen fic, it should hit the tone of the radio play. If it’s OTP fic, Martin!whump with savior!Douglas is a favourite of mine, as cliched as it is.

Check Please: This is such a cute fandom, and I ship Bitty/Jack A LOT. Nothing makes me happier than that they’re together and happy in canon. HOWEVER, my fic preferences are vastly different, as you’ll see further down. That means, I like fic that’s either AU or them getting together in another way than in canon. It’s what I’ll be hoping for if you decide to go this route. Basically, established relationship, and re-tellings of canon is so very much not interesting to me. Give me an AU with fresh anticipation and I will be happy!

Fullmetal Alchemist: Roy/Ed is the pairing I'm here for. I'm okay with Ed being 16 in fics when they get together, but if you prefer him to be older before he gets with Roy, that's fine with me. Anything Roy/Ed tierfal has ever written is perfect, so if you wanna pick one of those, that'd make my day. But you're honestly free to pick whatever you like, if you go for this ship. I don't even care which canon you want. '03/CoS, Manga/BH is all fine with me, as is canon AU and post canon AU. I don't like incest pairings in this fandom, but I'm fine with other established, past or background pairings as long as Roy/Ed is endgame.

Harry Potter: Draco/Harry is my OTP (like so many other people’s...). I'm more into the post canon AUs. Doesn't matter if Epilogue compliant or not. NO Ginny bashing! No Ron bashing, either. No non-magical AUs. (I hear they exist. I don't know why. I don't like HP without the magic.) No Cursed Child stuff, and no Magical Beast stuff either.

Hockey RPF: I cannot believe this is on my list, but what's a girl supposed to do? Sidney Crosby/Evgeni Malkin is the pairing of choice. Idc if it's Hockey AU or an AU where they have completely different careers. I'm more interested in their dynamic and Geno's adorableness/humour.

Merlin (BBC): My love for this fandom is endless. I mainly ship Merlin/Arthur, but am okay with other ships for Merlin, just not for Arthur XD I'm a lot into modern AU fics for this. It doesn't matter if it's reincarnation fic, or genuine modern AU with no ties to canon. Canon AUs don’t really do it much for me here.

Psych: I'm Shassie trash. Shawn/Lassiter is my OTP and unless it's fic about them, I'm not really interested, sorry. However, I'm fine with both Canon AUs and Post!Canon AUs, or even completely different AUs according to my AU preferences listed below.

Rivers of London: Peter Grant/Thomas Nightingale or Peter Grant/Beverly Brooke/Thomas Nightingale work for me, no other pairings. Gen fic can work, but I’m more into the ships when reading fanfic, because the entire book series is gen, with a couple of interruptions when Peter actually gets laid. All AU types in the “Like” section below are fine!

Sailor Moon: Usagi/Seiya or Usagi/Seiya/Mamoru is A+. I prefer Seiya in his male form, tbh, but I'm okay with fem!Seiya, too, since there's not that much male!Seiya/Usagi out there, I believe. Canon or post!Canon welcome. Please no cheating fics.

Here's a list of things I like a LOT in fics:

• AUs -- with ties to canon, with few ties to canon, with no ties to canon, they're all good (except where otherwise indicated), as are all the AUs where they have completely different professions/roles (You know, coffeeshop, teachers, etc.)

• magical realism

• soulmate (ESPECIALLY WITH SOULMATE IDENTIFYING MARKS!!!).

• angst, pining, hurt/comfort -- as long as they have happy endings. The characters can go through as much whump as anyone wants to put them through. I just need character B to be there to comfort/help, and a happy ending.

• enemies to lovers/friends to lovers

• arranged marriage/pretending to be a couple

• getting back together

• jealousy (in a non-abusive or manipulative way)

• Forced to share a bed

• Age gaps

• Omegaverse (but requires careful handling)

• UST (as long as it gets resolved)

• Dirty Talk

• Teacher/Student (Student must be 16 at least! No power dynamics that are ickier than the one inherent with this trope, so no manipulation, etc.)

Here's a list of things I dislike in fics that aren’t hard limits:

• Fusions and crossovers – yes, can totally work for me. (I write a lot of them myself, so.) I'm not so much a fan of Hogwarts AUs (unless it's HP fic....) or straight up combining two of my fandoms. That needs specific circumstances for me to work, and if I were you, I'd rather not risk it, unless you know with absolute certainty that I will love it. (Or if you're lunchee and want an excuse to record the next instalment in that Marvel/Cabin Pressure fusion AU with Martin/Tony...)

• While I support all the ace identities and wish them loads more representation, I'm not really interested in ace fic for myself. Demi!characters are okay with me (seeing how I read some of my faves as Demi), but I’m too allo to be able to relate to ace characters, sorry :(

• Established relationship – I’m much more into watching them get together

• Domestic stuff (see above)

• (casually) offensive language – like calling male characters “girl” to insult them, other sexist insults, cis-sexism, ableism, racism, etc. If it’s just this kind of casually offensive insult, I’ll be able to deal, but I’d prefer if you warned for it at the beginning of the recording in a short reader’s note. Alternatively, if another character calls offensive!character out for their behaviour. That’s definitely acceptable.

• (Mild) BDSM – I sometimes like it, but it requires a special mood and there’s no guarantee I’ll be in it at the time of posting.

• Sci-fi

• High School AUs, unless it’s the student/teacher dynamic as indicated above, or they’re both teachers.

• Fics with British canon that are unnecessarily Americanised. (If Merlin and Arthur are living in the US, there better be a reason. If they’re still in school/uni, author should’ve ideally made an attempt at researching Brit school systems.)

Here's a list of things I dislike in fics and will most likely not be excited about, or at worst, not even touch with a ten foot pole*:

• Urban fantasy AUs (vampires, zombies, were[animal]), historical AUs (i.e. not canon AU and not modern AU either, but inbetween... rarely works for me), and anything specifically excluded for a single fandom.

• Genderbending, cis swapping, etc. are not really my thing

• Unfortunately, neither is femslash. Believe me, I wish I were more into it, too.

• Heavy offensive themes (sexism, racism, ableism, etc) that aren’t resolved within the fic (i.e. Character A behaves in an offensive manner, gets called out by Character B is fine)

• Blood play, breath play, scat, watersports, and similar heavy kinks

• Major Character Death (I can deal with temporary MCD, but if I were you, I’d better not risk it)

• Non-con/dub-con

• Dystopia/Apocalypse fic (which is ironic if you look at my most recent Big Bang, but I still don’t really like the genre…)

*haha, get it? It's a Christmas pun!

Some final notes:

Any rating is fine, but I do prefer higher ratings usually. However, if you’re not comfortable with recording porny stuff, I don’t expect you to do it. Pick a fic where it fades to black, that’s fine. Kissing is crucial though. Tension’s got to be resolved somehow XD
